Our fiberglass shower pan liner or underlayment application was developed as a solution to tile shower pan leakage for one of our large custom home builders. The desired result was to stop this reoccurring problem and resolve one of their top warranty issues.
A traditional rubber membrane (CPE or PVC) pan liner is subject to deterioration, rotting and excess bunching and is easily penetrated with nails during installation and framing. All of these can create sources for leakage.

Over The Top’s fiberglass shower pans are custom built on the job to cover the entire floor surface and run vertically up the wall for a short distance. They are custom made to cover any pan, seat, curb, or half wall in the shower unit. If any water does leak through the grout in the tile or any other gaps, the fiberglass liner will direct it to the drain in the floor. The applications for our fiberglass underlayment are many. We have provided and installed our products for new home builders, plumbing contractors, flooring contractors, and remodeling contractors. Our custom fiberglass underlayment has been tested and certified by QAI Laboratories to meet IAPMO PS 106-2015 standards since September 2017.
